How Our Home Reverse Osmosis System Works

Our RO home systems are unique and effective because they involve not one but four filtration steps, from the initial sediment filter to the final post-carbon filter. The result is the cleanest possible drinking water. Here’s how our RO system works.

1. Sediment filter

The sediment filter removes bigger particles like dirt, sand, and rust, which helps protect the system’s main parts from damage.

2. Pre-carbon block

The pre-carbon block helps prevent contaminants from passing through and chemical compounds, such as chlorine and chloramines, that are not removed by reverse osmosis alone.

3. Reverse osmosis membrane

This is where the magic happens. Water is forced through a semipermeable membrane, where tiny pores in the membrane block harmful contaminants and dissolved chemicals while allowing purified water to flow through.

4. Post-carbon filter

The post-carbon filter polishes the water, removing any leftover taste or smell.
